[pjsip] help about Samples: Simple UA

hello everybody,
i want to develop my own simple sip client, it contain call hold, call forward, etc.. anyway. i want to learn how could it works then i have download http://www.pjsip.org/pjsip/docs/html/page_pjsip_sample_simple_ua_c.htm 

i don't know where i have to start, 
i read instructions of instillation documents PJSIP 


i followed there steps ;

1) http://www.pjsip.org/release/1.0.3/pjproject-1.0.3.zip
2) unzip to folder
3) create a empty file on pjlib/include/pj/config_site.h
4) install Platform SDK
5) install DirectX SDK 
6) install VS 2005
7) restart
8) open pjproject-vs8.sln with vs 2005
9) build project

i don't understand what i am doing ...

i make a file and learn very very very simple sip client.

please help me
